Kevin Huber

Kevin Huber is the father of an autistic son. This experience fundamentally changed his view of education. He knows first-hand how challenging it can be to find a learning path when conventional methods do not work. Stories, pictures and familiar motifs opened up a new way of learning for his son Alexander and became the foundation of the Spuki books.

As a child and teenager, Kevin created his own comic series with his best friend Fabian. Some of their motifs were later used by a municipality for road safety. His wife encouraged him to write down the bedtime stories from their family life. Kevin sketched the first Spuki dragon himself; the final illustrations are created with AI assistance. The stories, characters and values come from his life with Alexander.

Kevin observed how his son and other children learn with fascination when they encounter the right motifs and stories: they immerse themselves in narratives, identify with characters, and absorb knowledge and values naturally. With Spuki, he wants to create stories that meet children where they are and accompany them along their own learning path.
